Paul Belham and his wife, Nancy, founded the company in 1998. Paul's background working in and managing job-shops in the past gave him the necessary knowledge to start-up Bell's Powder Coating. With the AQMD and EPA demanding a shift away from wet paints powder coating looked like the finish of the future. Paul relished the opportunity to leverage his experience of powder coating operations and manufacturing principals in an industry that was more environmentally friendly and less regulated.

The powder coating industry has grown dramatically over the past decade.

Bell's Powder Coating has grown from 2 employees to 20, while services capabilities have grown by several multiples. It is still an exciting industry, with new products and processes such as Infra-Red and Ultra-Violet cure materials. An interesting and exciting recent trend toward powdercoated wood products has Bell's Powder Coating keeping an eye on the future while their feet remain firmly on their foundation of quality workmanship and excellent turnaround.
